Cardiovascular Health

With 1 in 12 Canadians over the age of 20 being diagnosed with the condition and 9 out of 10 having at least one risk factor, cardiovascular disease is a significant health concern for Canadians. The prevalence of blood clot (thrombosis) events results in approximately 10,000 deaths annually. To mitigate the symptoms and severe outcomes associated with cardiovascular disease, prevention and early detection are crucial for maintaining heart and vascular health. Health Today is committed to supporting its clients' cardiovascular health by offering access to three key heart and vascular screening tests. These tests provide insight into an individual's current health and risk of major adverse cardiac events, such as heart attack, and coagulation or clotting events, such as pulmonary embolism. Through these screening tests, Health Today aims to promote early detection and prevention, enabling individuals to take control of their cardiovascular health and reduce their risk of adverse outcomes.
