Cardiovascular Risk Marker Panel, Serum (CRMP1)

Cardiovascular Risk Marker Panel, Serum (CRMP1)

The Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Risk Marker Panel, Serum (CRMP1) screening is a comprehensive blood test that evaluates various markers associated with cardiovascular health and risk assessment. This panel includes several tests that provide valuable information about an individual's risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. The CRMP1 screening includes measurements of cholesterol levels, such as total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol (often referred to as "bad" cholesterol), HDL cholesterol (commonly known as "good" cholesterol), and triglycerides. Additionally, it include markers like high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP), which indicates systemic inflammation.

This panel does not include Homocysteine. it includes HSCRP, Lp(a) and APOB along with the Lipid Panel - Total Cholesterol, LDL,HDL, non calculated HDL and Trig.

By analyzing the results of the CRMP1 screening, healthcare providers can assess an individual's cardiovascular health and identify potential risk factors. This information is crucial in guiding preventive measures, lifestyle modifications, and therapeutic interventions to reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases such as heart disease, stroke, and peripheral artery disease. The Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Risk Marker Panel, Serum (CRMP1) screening serves as a valuable tool in assessing cardiovascular risk, enabling early detection and intervention, and promoting proactive management of cardiovascular health to improve overall patient outcomes.
